Environmental Protection and the Chesapeake Bay

A thriving Chesapeake Bay requires commitment from all stakeholders, including other states and municipalities in the watershed. For far too long, Maryland lawmakers have placed the burden of environmental reform on our farmers, builders, and small business owners through repressive policies such as the Rain Tax, while ignoring the impact of urban sewage systems and upstream contamination.

As your Delegate, I will work with lawmakers and environmental advocates to find real solutions to cleaning our bay, instead of using small businesses as scapegoats.
